The Mares Open Water Silver Package is a strong but lightweight SCUBA set that will come fully assembled to you. This package is at home in warm and cold water.and combines the cleverly designed Abyss 15X regulator and the modern Quantum BCD for great all-round performance. Regulator The Mares Abyss 52x Regulator is a robust and smooth regulator packed full of features and perfect for both cold and warm waters.  The metal body of the Abyss makes it much stronger than traditional materials and also acts as a heat sync to improve cold water performance.   Abyss The Abyss 2nd stage is an all metal design which makes it strong and great for cold water diving.  As well as acting as a giant heat-sync to reduce the chances of free-flows it can also help to reduce the dryness of the air you're breathing by letting moisture from your breath condense inside the 2nd stage.   The bypass tube uses Vortex Assisted Design to prevent fluttering so you get a smooth breath and reduces breathing resistance.   52x The 52x features Dynamic Flow Control which basically maximises airflow to you no matter the conditions.  Inside is an ACT Valve which increases durability by 600% compared to traditional valves so where some regulators will start to hiss over time because the valve ages the 52x will keep going for longer. Natural Convection Channel increases cold water performance by creating a flow of water over the 1st stage.   OctopusThe Mares Abyss Octopus is designed to be paired with the matching Abyss regulator to provide a full high performance coldwater regulator set up. The Abyss uses a full metal housing to provide excellent thermal transfer properties that help to improve cold water reliability and performance.GaugesThe Mares Mission 3 Gauge is an analog console with a pressure gauge depth gauge and a compact compass which is angled for optimal reading. The Mission 3 has a shock resistant case with mounting points all over it to clip it to a D-Ring. Linear colour coded phosphorescent faces display information easily even in the dark as a simply flash of a torch will charge it up so you can read them in them at night. BCDThe Mares Quantum BCD is the start of a new generation of BCDs with great comfort and practicality for any level of diver.
