The Hollis S25 LX is the smallest donut style wing that Hollis currently produce which offers 25lbs (111N) of lift and has bee redesigned slightly from the original S25 wing to include a new 1680D cordura outer bladder with identifiable red ring and a 420 nylon internal bladder, an internal retraction system, new oval corrugated hose and redesigned over pressurisation valves. The S25 LX is compact, fully inflated the wing measures approximately 39cm across the top, 34cm across at the bottom, 61cm top to bottom and 11cm thick (front to back). The internal retraction loop does a great job of drawing all excess material back in towards the centre of the wing, helping to reduce drag and keep everything as streamlined as possible at all times. If you are not necessarily keen on this approach then it is a simple task to open the wing using the composite zip that runs the entire length edge of the wing and remove the bungee loop. Obviously it is very quick to put back at a later date. The wing is fitted with a standard inflator system with inflate, deflate and oral inflation which is connected to the wing via an oval profile corrugated hose to the rear of the left shoulder. A over pressurisation deflation valve is fitted to the lower left corner on the inside of the wing. Both the corrugated hose and dump valve can be easily removed for bladder replacement if required.
