The Sharkskin Socks are a high performance alterative to neoprene that can be worn by itself or under your wetsuit or drysuit as and additional thermal layer. Designed by SCUBA divers Sharkskin is suitable for a wide range of watersports to keep you warm and safe against water, wind and harmful UV. Trilaminate Material consists of a soft microfleece layer against the skin that wicks moisture away from your body to keep you warm and comfortable. A Mid-Layer of breathable yet windproof membrane lets your body regulate body temperature naturally while eliminating windchill. And an Outer-Layer of 4-way stretch abrasion, UV and water repellant material to provide a protective shell that 'sheds' water. Neutrally Buoyant Material doesn't change your buoyancy so you don't need to add or remove lead while wearing it unless under a drysuit. The material is neutrally buoyant but has a thermal protection similar to a 2.5 - 3mm neoprene wetsuit. Anti-Microbial, odour and itch resistant material is machine washable but will keep you feeling fresher for longer. A soft neoprene neck material helps to keep wind, water and spray from getting in for added comfort.
